Pesto Terrine

Simple, easy appetizer. Great for entertaining at home or take to a gathering. Serve with crackers or sliced baguettes, either toasted or non-toasted. I use my own pesto recipe with Yupik Sundried Tomatoes that I buy in bulk on Amazon. These are a great price and store well in the pantry with the zip lock closure on the bag. No messy oil like the ones in the jar.


Ingredients:


1 brick of cream cheese

1 jar of pesto (try my pesto recipe)

1 small bag of pine nuts

sliced sun dried tomatoes


Take cream cheese brick out of package. Place on a cutting board and slice into three layers.


Place one layer on a plate or tray. Spread with pesto, sprinkle with pine nuts and finely sliced sun dried tomatoes,


Add the second layer of sliced cream cheese. Also spread with pesto, add pine nuts and finely sliced sun dried tomatoes.


Proceed to add the last layer of cream cheese and top with pesto, pine nuts and the sliced sun dried tomatoes.


Ready to serve.
